During the talks, the experts helped the residents to find answers to various questions about the importance of implementing energy efficiency measures, the savings, as well as the procedure for obtaining financing, the establishment of an apartment owners' association and other questions.

Residents had the opportunity to meet in person with experts from the Riga Energy Agency, the State Development Finance Institution ALTUM, the Riga City Council Property Department and the Housing and Environment Department, as well as with representatives of the Ministry of Economics campaign "Live Warmer" and SIA "Riga House Manager". During the talks, the experts helped the residents to find answers to various questions about the importance of implementing energy efficiency measures, the savings, as well as the procedure for obtaining financing, the establishment of an apartment owners' association and other questions.

Energy efficiency measures significantly reduce energy consumption. After the renovation, the heating bill is reduced by an average of 50-60 percent. Along with the renovation, the life cycle of the building is extended, its appearance is improved, and the common areas of the building (staircase, basement, attic) are renovated. No less important factor is the increase in the market value of apartments in renovated buildings.
